Victorian Kung Fu and Tai Chi is dedicated to teaching highly effective and quality martial arts. When you train kung fu with us you will not only develop skills to defend yourself from a physical attack, you will also become fit and healthy, develop determination, build confidence, self-discipline and have fun. You will build up your immune system, which will protect you from sickness or injury, you will also develop the strength of mind required to defend yourself against negative thoughts and influences.


Our kung fu is based on the ability to defend yourself in real-life situations. Our style will teach you how to understand energy – how to control it and how to get more of it. You will learn that regardless of your size or gender, you can effectively protect yourself against an attack from any opponent.


Getting Started

You are welcome to attend a free trial class on a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday at 7:00pm.

Participating in a class is recommended, whereas just watching is not. Our kung fu style is a system based on the understanding of energy and therefore must be experienced in order to realize its effectiveness. There is a saying to this effect:

'What is seen is not the same as what is felt'.

Please wear a T-shirt, track pants and sports shoes for your first session and remove any jewellery that may get caught or snagged while you are training.
